1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Contract Alert Engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Contract Alert Engine is a subscription-based platform that aggregates, filters, and summarizes government contract opportunities from SAM.gov. We provide AI-generated summaries and personalized alerts based on your industry preferences and geographic regions. The service is designed for informational purposes to help small businesses discover relevant federal contracting opportunities.

3. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

All contract opportunity data is sourced from SAM.gov and other publicly available government databases. While we strive to present accurate and timely information, we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any data displayed on our platform. AI-generated summaries are provided for convenience and may not capture all relevant details. You should always verify opportunity details directly on SAM.gov before submitting any bids or proposals.

4. Subscription and Billing

Access to personalized alerts and premium features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly through Gumroad. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Gumroad account. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each account is intended for use by a single individual or business entity. Sharing account access or credentials with unauthorized parties is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes related to identifying and pursuing government contracting opportunities. You may not scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from our platform. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the data or AI summaries provided through our service without written permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The Contract Alert Engine platform, including its design, features, and AI-generated content, is our proprietary property. Government contract data sourced from SAM.gov is public domain information. Our value-added features, including filtering algorithms, AI summaries, and fit analysis, are protected intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

Contract Alert Engine is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to lost profits, missed opportunities, or reliance on AI-generated summaries. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. Scheduled maintenance, system updates, and factors beyond our control (including SAM.gov API availability) may temporarily affect service access. We will make reasonable efforts to notify subscribers of planned maintenance in advance.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at our discretion if you violate these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us to request account deletion. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
